JATS XML Generator is a free, intuitive, and simple tool for publishers to convert their content into JATS DTD compliant XML for the purpose of: 1) Submission to A&I agencies such as Pub Med Central and 2) to use the JATS XML output for upload into Open Journal Systems Galley and in conjunction with JATS Parser Plugin for conversion to HTML.
1Start by filling in all the required fields.
2Add as many authors as you would like, with the corresponding author’s affiliation. Please note that at least one author is required.
3Add sections such as "Introduction", "Methods", "Conclusion", "References" etc. Make sure you provide the title and description. You can just copy and paste your content from your word document.
4If you would like to add tables, you can either crate your table using the available editor or just copy and paste from word document.
5For images, make sure that you upload your image to your SERVER, then copy the image link and paste in the editor. For example: < img src="http://jatsxmlgenerator.com/img/logo.png">
6For formulas, you may use LaTeX or MathML and just paste the result in the editor HTML viewer, using a p tag - see examples: MathJS to generate Math formulas.
7Hit the Generate Button to Download the XML.
